Coalition for True Justice
What is the Coalition for True Justice?

A coalition of like-hearted clergy who believe that it is important to make their voices heard on the issues of true justice.

Message from the Coalition:

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” - Isaiah 5:20

We are in the moment where the verse above has become reality. On September 21st, 2011 one of the most evil gatherings of our time, a gathering of rogue international leaders, Durban III, is going to take place at the United Nations in New York City.

At Durban III, Libya, Syria, Iran and other human rights offenders will turn a blind eye to the human rights violations happening in their own backyards, often against our Christian brothers and sisters, while at the same time they will spread an anti-Israel agenda under the guise of “combating racism”. Meanwhile, real issues of racism, discrimination and human rights abuses are being completely ignored by the international community. The Libyan, Iranian and Syrian governments have been violently suppressing and killing their own people who are demanding freedom. Persecution and martyrdom are rampant in the Middle East. For instance, just last month on May 7, 2011, an armed group of Islamists, attacked and set fire to two churches in Cairo, Egypt. The attacks resulted in the deaths of 12 of our Christian brothers and sisters and more than 230 wounded. Yet around the world people of faith largely remained silent.

In its charter, Durban III is being convened to address “Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance” and those planning Durban III claim that it “provides the most comprehensive UN framework for combating racism.” However, the reality is that of the 192 U.N. member states, only Israel is singled out by name as being racist, while true issues of racism and injustice are overlooked around the world. Syria, Libya and Iran are some of the nations at this conference that are manipulating the racism issue to advance their anti-Israel propaganda. Yet those who know the truth are silent.

As a nation we have overcome issues of racism and we must stand up and take back the discussion of real racism and true human rights abuses today. We must speak out for true justice.

We implore you to join a growing coalition of clergy from across Greater New York and the Northeast area who are choosing not to remain silent on this issue. It is time to break the silence. It is time to find our voice.
